On Thursday, a pair of astronauts will venture outside the space station to prepare for the future installation of roll-out solar arrays that will help power its deorbit in 2030.

Two astronauts, Mike Fincke, who is also the Expedition 74 commander and flight engineer Zena Cardman will set out to conduct a routine microbial swab and hardware check after affixing a set of new roll-out solar arrays.
