An Aurora man faces five counts of attempted murder of a police officer following a shooting Thanksgiving night.

A Denver man is facing five counts of attempted murder of a police officer after an incident on Thanksgiving Day that occurred just after 9 p.m.

The Aurora Police Department on Monday announced the arrest of a suspect on five charges of attempted murder of a police officer, resulting in the suspect being shot and six officers placed on administrative leave.
