The President of the United States, Donald Trump, threatened the European Union on Friday with a significant increase in tariffs on European goods. He stated that the current negotiations "are going nowhere.

President Donald Trump is threatening a 50% tax on all imports from the European Union as well as a 25% tariff on smartphones unless the products are made in America.
