The Disney live-action remake Lilo & Stitch was released during this Memorial Day weekend and surpassed Top Gun: Maverick ‘s opening weekend collection as the biggest debut during this holiday. The movie has collected $339.3 million at the North American box office so far and has only been in the theaters for eighteen days.

Lilo and Stitch is still dominating the box office, and it's now done something Disney's live-action remakes have only done twice before.

Disney’s “Lilo & Stitch” will take the No. 1 spot at the box office for a third weekend, earning $32.5 million and fending off Lionsgate’s “ Ballerina ,” which is underperforming with a $25 million start.
