Major U.S. stock indexes were trading mostly higher midday Friday, with the S&P 500 heading for another weekly gain. The S&P 500 was up 12 points in midday trading, or 0.2%, at almost 6,088. The Nasdaq Composite climbed 115 points, or 0.6%, to trade at nearly 19,816.
