A passenger train collided with a vehicle March 12, killing the male driver and critically injuring the vehicle's female passenger. No other injuries reported.

A railroad crossing in Moncks Corner remains closed Thursday following a deadly crash that occurred between a vehicle and an Amtrak train.

William Jeffrey Foster, 59, was killed in a vehicle collision with a train on Altman Street in Moncks Corner, and the passenger was transported to a local hospital in critical but stable condition.
