Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs will face the Indiana Pacers in the NBA's 4th and 5th regular-season games in Paris.

The Pacers had quite the view on Tuesday. They went to take a team picture in front of the Eiffel Tower. Pacers forward Obi Toppin joked that if there was a ball at the top, he would be able to jump and get it.

The teams arrived in Paris on Monday, with practices and other events scheduled throughout the week and then the games toward the end. The Spurs were coming straight from the airport to a light workout in Nanterre — on the court that Wembanyama called home when started his pro career in the French league as a 15-year-old.

Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs are in Paris to play two NBA games against the Indiana Pacers, one on Thursday and one on Saturday. It is a homecoming for the 7-foot-4 Frenchman, who has not played a competitive game in his home country since France lost the gold medal game to the United States at the 2024 Olympic Games.

The French basketball star arrived in the Paris region on Monday with his partners from the San Antonio Spurs for two NBA games, and returned to his old club, Nanterre.

The campaign includes a “Quest for Gold" city-wide scavenger hunt; an NBA House “Gold Out" LED activation; watch parties and more across the city.

Last year, the Indiana Pacers made the Eastern Conference Finals and entered this season with high hopes. However, they got off to a slow start and there were concerns that the team would miss the playoffs entirely, despite largely having the same roster that found success last season.

The Indiana Pacers arrived in Paris this week for a pair of games against the San Antonio Spurs. This marks the first time the NBA will play two regular-season games in the French capital in the same season.
