Online tracker DownDetector reported a spike in outages on X’s site shortly after the fire, which disruptions continuing through the afternoon. “The incident is under control, and the fire department has concluded its on-site response. All personnel were safely evacuated, with no reported injuries,” Digital Realty said in a written statement.

According to Tom's Guide, X's official engineering account previously acknowledged the outage (on Thursday), stating on X, "We is aware some of our users are experiencing performance issues on the platform today. We are experiencing a data center outage and the team is active working to remediate the issue."
