A federal judge has ordered the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to stop sharing personal data of Medicaid enrollees with deportation officials.

The Department of Homeland Security is blocked from Medicaid data in 20 states that sued the administration, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Department of Health and Human Services cannot share that data with Immigration and Customs Enforcement to help with arrests and removal operations, according to Tuesday’s ruling.

Children's Health Defense, an anti-vaccine group Kennedy founded, had pushed through to bring the task force back.

The US Department of Health and Human Services said it is re-establishing the Task Force on Safer Childhood Vaccines, a panel of US health officials tasked with making recommendations on vaccine development,

The Task Force on Safer Childhood Vaccines will, in part, work on making recommendations on the development and "refinement" of childhood vaccines that "result in fewer and less serious adverse reactions" than those currently on the market, according to an HHS press release.
