Detroit Tigers beat the Kansas City Royals, 1-0, in the series finale Sunday, winning two of three games in the American League Central showdown.

The Kansas City Royals dropped another close game on Sunday afternoon at Kauffman Stadium. The Royals lost 1-0 and wasted a terrific start from left-hander Kris Bubic. He allowed one run on four hits across seven innings. However, there was one moment that stood out.

The Tigers managed one lonely run in the final two games against the Royals. But it was good enough to secure another series win.
