Officially teased around a month ago and leaked a number of times since then, Samsung's ultra-thin Galaxy S25 Edge is today tipped to receive a gala Unpacked presentation on April 16 and a (limited) commercial release sometime in May.

In 2025 phone makers seem to be jumping back on the thickness bandwagon, offering phones that are noticeably skinnier than their flagship counterparts. Samsung is one of the companies attempting that with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, a phone that is rumored to be just 5.84mm thick.

Remember when Samsung teased a thinner Galaxy S25 at the Unpacked event last month? It’s happening sooner than we imagined. As the flowers bloom and the bees buzz, Samsung will sprout the Galaxy S25 Edge, which we expect to be its thinnest flagship. The Seoul Economic Daily reports that the Galaxy S25 Edge will have its launch event on April 16.
