SuperHeroHype on MSNJames Gunn Shoots Down Wonder Woman DCU Casting RumorSuperman writer and director James Gunn shoots down a rumor related to casting for the DCU Wonder Woman movie that's being written.
Hot off the heels of the blockbuster success of Superman, DC Studios is ready to introduce us to another child of Krypton already. After tiny teases throughout its production, we have our first proper look at Milly Alcock’s Supergirl.
James Gunn's 'Superman' introduced, in its climax, a significant character who would get her own movie, set to be released in 2026. Craig Gillespie, known for 'Lars and the Real Girl', 'I, Tonya' and 'Cruella',
James' recently released Superman, starring David Corenswet, is performing well at the box office. The superhero film, first in Gunn's new DC Universe, has been raved by critics and audiences. Reportedly, the film has earned $155 million domestically and $250 million globally.
Alcock shared the meme just moments after DC boss James Gunn posted the first Supergirl poster. The new look shows the hero standing in front of a Superman mural, which she has vandalized, whilst she drinks an unknown beverage from a paper cup. Both the meme and the poster sure do fit with Supergirl’s wild reputation as introduced in Superman.
Released yesterday (July 16) by DC Studios co-chief James Gunn, it shows the eponymous hero sipping on a Slurpie as she poses next to the immediately recognizable 'S' symbol that adorns her and fellow Kryptonian Superman 's outfits.
The Supergirl film, titled Woman of Tomorrow, also stars Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, and Emily Beecham. Fans reacted excitedly to the poster. One commented, “I loved her cameo at the end.
First shared by co-department head of hair Lindsay McAllister on Instagram and now available all over the internet, the behind-the-scenes image shows Alcock getting ready to film her first-ever scene as Kara Zor-El. The original post was deleted, but luckily for us Discussing Film reposted it for everyone to see (you can check out the image below).
