The hit FX series landed 13 Emmy Award nominations on Tuesday - an impressive total, until you consider the prior Emmys. This time last year, season two of The Bear set a new comedy series record with 23 Emmy noms.
After last year’s Primetime Emmy broadcast that sported fresh blood in terms of marquee category winners with Hacks for Comedy Series, Shōgun for Drama Series and Baby Reindeer for Limited Series/Anthology,
The Chicago-set series about the restaurant business once again had a strong showing. Other standout nominees include “Severance” and “The Studio.”
The Bear is once again an Emmys darling, scoring another 13 nominations Tuesday morning for its third season, including a historic one for Ayo Edebiri. That brings the FX series’ total to 49 Emmy noms across three seasons.
