Popular Indian actor Allu Arjun was arrested from his residence following an incident at a theatre where his movie Pushpa 2: The Rule was playing. Shortly after the arrest, he was granted four-week interim bail.

Indian superstar Allu Arjun was taken into custody by Hyderabad police on Friday in connection with a stampede that claimed the life of a woman.

We had reported on Friday that Allu Arjun was arrested by Hyderabad police regarding the Sandhya stampede incident that led to tragic death of a 39-year-old woman. The actor was remanded to 14-day judicial custody and was granted interim bail.

The latest statement by Telangana police after the viral letter by Sandhya Theatre Management spells trouble for Allu Arjun, who is directly being blamed for the out-of-control crowd and the stampede which was a result of it.
