Done deal: 49ers six-time Pro-Bowl TE George Kittle has signed a four-year, $76.4 million contract extension that includes $40 million guaranteed, as he told @BussinWTB.

San Francisco 49ers star tight end George Kittle was set to enter the final year of his contract this season, but the team will be keeping him around for quite a while longer. The extension also makes Kittle the highest-paid tight end in NFL history,

A report at the start of last week indicated Kittle and the team were far apart in their negotiations and Kittle did not report for the first days of voluntary work with the team.
