Taiwan-based China Airlines has placed a firm order for 10 Boeing 777-9s and four 777-8 freighters, becoming the newest 777X customer.

BA] today announced the carrier will purchase up to 210 widebody jets, which sets new records as the largest widebody order for Boeing, including the largest order for 787 Dreamliners and Qatar Airways largest-ever order.
