WASHINGTON — Kendrick Lamar led the Grammy nominations with nine nominations, followed by Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny and Sabrina Carpenter as the top nominees. The announcements were made on Friday during a video livestream, available on the Grammy website and the Recording Academy's YouTube channel.

Taylor Swift was not eligible to be nominated for a 2026 Grammy. Her latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” was released in Oct. 2025, while the eligibility period for the upcoming award show was Aug. 2024 to Aug. 2025. Meaning, “The Life of a Showgirl” will be eligible at the 2027 Grammys.
