The northern lights — also called aurora borealis — could be visible in Alaska, Washington, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan, Maine, northern parts of Idaho, Wyoming, Iowa, New York, Vermont and New Hampshire.

According to the NOAA, 24 states, including Alaska, Montana and North Dakota, might have a chance to see the northern lights June 1 and June 2.

Sky-watchers, you're in luck—the northern lights, or aurora borealis, may make another showing in June, above Alaska and the upper Midwest to the Northeast, according to NOAA.
