State Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, are each recovering after being shot multiple times in a politically-motivated attack at their Champlin home. John Hoffman was shot nine times and Yvette Hoffman was shot eight times early Saturday by a man posing as a police officer, who authorities allege was 57-year-old Vance Boelter.
