The FDA has given the second-highest risk level to a recall of 64,800 pounds of butter across the U.S. and the Dominican Republic.The butter, produced by Bunge North American, Inc., contains an undeclared allergen: milk.

Bunge North America has voluntarily recalled more than 64,000 pounds of its NH European Style Butter Blend after discovering the product contained an undeclared milk allergen

An estimated 64,800 pounds of the butter were recalled due to failure to disclose a milk allergen in the product. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is reclassifying a recall on more than 64,000 pounds of butter as Class II, putting it at the second-highest warning level, due to undeclared milk allergens.
