Carlos Alcaraz mounted an extraordinary comeback to win the men’s final at Roland Garros on Sunday, defeating world No. 1 Jannik Sinner 4-6, 6-7 (4), 6-4, 7-6 (3), 7-6 (2).

The Italian defeated Taylor Fritz in straight sets to extend his run. He turned six into nine at this year's Australian Open, toppling Alexander Zverev 3-0 in the final and heading to the Roland Garros final with a possible record-breaking run.

Carlos Alcaraz came from two sets down and saved three match points to overcome Jannik Sinner and defend his French Open title in the longest final in Roland Garros history. The Spaniard showed incredible reserves of energy and willpower to win a five-hour 29-minute marathon and deny world number one Sinner a third consecutive grand slam title.
