Turpin has added a special element to the Dallas roster. As a returner, he’s averaging 36.3 yards per kick return and 14.4 on punts. His touchdown on Sunday was the second time he scored on a return this year. In Week 1, he took a punt back 60 yards against the Browns.

Turpin tried to one-hop the kick and it went between his legs. The game was hanging in the balance with the Cowboys ahead, 20-17, in the fourth quarter. Turpin recovered the ball near the goal line and while nearly surrounded by some Commanders’ players, Turpin reached the 10-yard line spun and was gone for a 99-yard touchdown.

One of the wildest quarters of the 2024 season was the fourth quarter of last Sunday's game in Washington and Cowboys kickoff returner KaVontae Turpin was responsible for some of the madness.

The Dallas Cowboys were victorious last week against the Washington Commanders and wide receiver KaVontae Turpin was a big reason why. With things hanging in the balance late in the game, Turpin took matters into his own hands and returned a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown.
