President Donald Trump on Sunday directed federal immigration officials to prioritize deportations from Democratic-run cities after large protests have erupted in Los Angeles and other major cities against the Trump administration’s immigration policies.

The Southern California native joins a growing number of music artists speaking out against the immigration raids.

The new round of protests comes as the No Kings demonstrations were held across the United States on Saturday to protest the policies of the Trump administration. Counting the previous day's protests, Sunday marks the 10th day of demonstrations against ICE raids and Trump's policies for his second term in office.
