Angel Reese entered the All-Star break playing the best basketball of her young career, but was unable to pick up where she left off in the Chicago Sky's first game back on Tuesday, a 91-68 loss to the league-leading Minnesota Lynx.

Kayla McBride and Napheesa Collier scored 19 points apiece and the Minnesota Lynx dominated the middle quarters in a 91-68 win over Chicago Sky, improving to 13-0 in home games.

The Minnesota Lynx opened up the second half of the season out of the All-Star break with a blowout win over the Chicago Sky on Tuesday night at Target Center.

With Ariel Atkins sidelined and Kamilla Cardoso in foul trouble, the Sky couldn’t keep pace — and their playoff hopes are on shakier ground.

The Lynx are out for vengeance this year after losing the Finals to New York in 2024. Napheesa Collier has been putting up MVP numbers. Collier was named the All-Star game MVP after posting 36 points and nine rebounds over the weekend.

The Lynx’ dominance defined the 2010s. They won four WNBA titles in seven seasons from 2011-17, hanging a banner in Target Center every other year.
