Former Australia captain Aaron Finch has slammed Sunil Gavaskar for over-the-top comments on Josh Hazlewood. Finch's comments came in response to one of Gavaskar's columns.

Hazlewood was one of the few bright lights in an Australian side that promised a lot but delivered very little in the first Test defeat to India in Perth.

Hazlewood, who was Australia's most successful bowler in Perth, has been sidelined from the day-night Adelaide Test due to an injury. Scott Boland will replace Hazlewood for the Test.
