Tropical Storm Fernand is expected to continue on a north-northeasterly path over the central Atlantic Ocean Monday and Tuesday and pose no threat to land, the National Hurricane Center said early Monday.

According to the National Hurricane Center's 11 p.m. Monday advisory, Tropical Storm Fernand is in the Atlantic Ocean, 485 miles east-northeast of Bermuda. With maximum sustained winds of 60 mph, it is moving north-northeast at 14 mph.
