Possibly over 3,600 years old, this set of cylindrical weights is attributed to the Old Babylonian period of Mesopotamia and was excavated at Warka (ancient Uruk), Iraq. They are made of hematite with rounded ends and represent graded measures, from about 500 g (1 mina) down to about 25 g (3 shekels).
